Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog!! This is my husbands third deployment, but our second together. I definitely wasn't expecting the goodbye to be so easy...I was a complete wreck the days (and weeks) leading up to it. I think I was just relieved to finally have the day here and to be able to start my countdown. You'll find that as it gets closer, you're just ready...the build up is worse than the actual deployment! (I think so at least.) Keep yourself busy, don't be afraid to cry, and try to make the send off fun. There are plenty of days to cry and be sad, but I didn't want my hubby to have that as his last memory of me!
